This Friday's 11pm screening of Alejandro Jodorowsky's cult masterpiece The Holy Mountain has completely sold out. All 645 seats at the RMIT Capitol Theatre have been sold.
The Holy Mountain is screening as part of the 56th Melbourne International Film Festival. This is the first time in the history of the Festival that a late night screening has EVER sold out.
This is fantastic and will ensure that all 645 of us will have a wild night experiencing this classic midnight movie as they were always intended.
The Festival has advised us that there are often stand-by tickets available, as some people book the film on their Festival Passes but don't show up. Come on down at before the start just before 11pm and see if there are any seats available.
This promises to be quite a special night in the beautiful Capitol Theatre and the first screening of the brand new 35mm print of this sacrilegious work of art.
