ZIMBABWEAN OPPOSITION LEADER IN AUSTRALIA
28 Aug 2007
Zimbabwean opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai is in Australia this week giving talks around the country on Zimbabwe’s crisis and the future of current President Robert Mugabe. He will meet with Foreign Minister Alexander Downer tomorrow.
Mr Tsvangirai said that the crisis in Zimbabwe is growing more urgent and that the problem is often misperceived.
"The crisis in Zimbabwe is nothing to do with land, has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with mismanagement and misrule," he said.
