Just confirmed is a interview with director Alejandro Jodorowsky, to happen directly after the screening of his masterpiece The Holy Mountain at the Chauvel Cinema this Saturday.

At the conclusion of the film there will be a live phone link-up with Jodorowsky, who lives in Paris. The interview will be conducted by local cinephile Jamie Leonarder.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the genius who invented the ‘Midnight Movies' phenomenon that was further mined by the likes of David Lynch and John Waters.

Drinks will be held at 8pm, before the screening, for the closing of the exhibition A Dictionary of Symbols, which is a collection of script notes, behind-the-scenes photographs and reviews from the original release of Jodorowsky's films.
