THE TRACEY FRAGMENTS AT APPLE

15 Jul 2008

Editors Jeremy Munce, Gareth Scales and Matthew Hannam talk about their workThe revolutionary multi-frame technique used throughout The Tracey Fragments was the result of almost a year in post-production.

Editors were given free rein to execute director Bruce McDonald's vision for Tracey. According to McDonald, "I essentially gave them permission to make it their own,” he says. “My job as director was to set them free and let them create, which they did, to stunning effect."

The editing team recently held a demonstration of their techniques and working processes at the Apple Store in New York (pictured).

There is a great account of the making of the film and its post-production in the Final Cut section of the Apple site.
